Marketing Manager

Slotmill is looking for a Marketing Manager with overriding responsibility for all aspects of our marketing – from planning through to execution.

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will hold the global responsibility for all aspects of marketing, developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic marketing plan across all channels/parts of the funnel, with a strong focus on performance marketing. As Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal role in the organization. You need to be a doer, analytical, a problem solver, thrive in a dynamic work environment and have previous experience from a similar role.



  • Developing, implementing, maintaining and executing the strategic marketing plan with the objective to successfully strengthen the Slotmill brand
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with key suppliers and partners within the marketing space,
  • Full ownership of all key digital marketing channels such as SEO, , Affiliation, Paid & Organic Social Media, as well as sponsorships and CRM
  • Manage budgets and hitting growth targets focusing on profitability/ROI
  • Ideate, monitor, analyze and optimize campaigns across traditional media and strong focus Social (Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook).
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with marketing partners providing ongoing support, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and analyzing various marketing activities, generating reports, and optimizing campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • PR – writing and distributing press releases.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy to expand our affiliate network and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and optimize current partnerships and identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with Product management, Operations, and the Data & BI team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • Ensure all marketing and advertising activities are fully compliant with relevant gambling legislation and socially responsible.
  • Planning, project management and execution of events

Our expectations

  • At least 5 years of experience in the gambling industry in similar roles
  • Proven experience in setting up and growing customer acquisition, retention, and brand programs.
  • Be commercially and analytically minded, using both quantitative and qualitative data sources to drive decisions to successfully generate results.
  • ‘Big-picture’ marketing expert, mindful of the whole customer path from awareness to advocacy, but you must be able to roll up your sleeves and actively manage campaigns.
  • A doer that makes things happen.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and comfortable dealing with fast paced / start-up environments.
  • Strong social- and communication skills
  • Self-driven /motivated overachiever
  • Passionate, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trust.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
