We are looking to strengthen our technology organization with a Senior Framework Developer. As a Senior Framework Developer, you will work on the shared framework used across our portfolio of around 60 games. You will collaborate closely with other team members, game teams, backend teams, other parts of the organization, and external suppliers. We believe that you have well-developed social skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and strong attention to detail. You are passionate about building long-lasting, maintainable software and enjoy creating tools, processes, and technical solutions that make development easier for others.
Programming is mainly done using TypeScript and React. Previous experience from the online gaming industry is a merit, but not a must.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and maintain the shared framework used across our game portfolio
- Build and maintain UI components and tools using React
- Keep all games continuously updated to the latest framework version
- Plan, coordinate, and support framework releases across multiple games
- Perform and improve manual and automated testing of games and framework changes
- Write and maintain automated tests
- Collaborate with the backend team to support new integrations with external parties
- Monitor and manage Sentry to identify, investigate, and resolve live issues
- Manage self-hosted GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines in CircleCI
- Develop tools and improve processes to speed up development and make daily work easier for the game teams
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, game teams, and external suppliers to deliver high-quality technical solutions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in frontend development
- Experience with client-server applications
- Working experience with TypeScript or React
- Experience writing automated tests
- Experience working with release processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Organized and used to delivering according to set project timelines
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic, innovative, and creative in your approach
- Goal-oriented and quality-focused
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Based in Stockholm
We value
- Prior experience from the gaming or online gaming industry
- Experience with agile development processes
- Experience working with TDD and automated testing techniques
- Experience with Sentry or similar monitoring/error-tracking tools
- Experience with GitHub workflows, self-hosted runners, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD systems
- Experience developing internal tools, shared frameworks, or platform-level solutions
- Experience supporting multiple product teams with shared technical infrastructure
